The NYK Super Eco-Ship 2030 Concept Design: Reducing CO2-Emissions With 70%

Shipping is one of the most eco-friendly forms of transportation. However, GHG from shipping is increasing along with the growth of world trade.
And so, to keep shipping both the lifeblood of the world economy and the most eco-friendly transport, NYK designs tomorrow’s concept ships and press forward on the technical developments needed to achieve them.
NYK are targeting the achievement of zero emissions by 2050 and have designed the concept ship NYK Super Eco Ship 2030 as a milestone for 2030. NYK enlisted the help of young, innovative, and talented naval architects and experienced project engineers to come up with the concept design.
