Bees. Among the most hardworking and organized insects in the entire world. They are appreciated and loved by doctors for the honey, wax, propolis they produce - all of which have helped people maintain their health for over 2000 years.
They also help farmers by pollinating many crops. However, biologists are increasingly sounding the alarm lately: the number of bee species all around the world has been steadily declining.
They believe that this disaster is even worse than the annual floods, earthquakes, and tsunamis. So why are bees so important, and what threatens humanity with their extinction?
