World Expo Shanghai 2010: Hamburg House – China’s first certified Passive House

Zo, de World Expo 2010 in Sjanghai is geopend en er staan juweeltjes van bouwwerken tussen, waarmee de deelnemende landen en enkele steden zich presenteren aan een miljoenenpubliek.
Hamburg presenteert zich met het eerste Passief Huis van China: Hamburg House. Bijzonder is dat deze inzending ook na de World Expo blijft staan. Bijna alle andere bouwerken worden weer afgebroken. Zie ook: World Expo Shanghai 2010: Better City, Better Life
As the only German city, Hamburg was chosen by the International Selection Committee to participate in the Expo Shanghai 2010 with its own building project. The building presents Hamburg’s experience with energy-saving construction and is a reference for the development and realisation of sustainable, energy-saving construction in the city of Shanghai. The special feature: the Hamburg House will not be taken down like most other Expo buildings after the exhibition, but will continue to be used. Hamburg House
