These buildings showed real innovation to prove they were the smartest in America and claim their share of $80,000 in prizes.
The two winners are: Duke Energy Center in Charlotte, NC and Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, IA and the two runners up are: Cold Climate Housing Research Center in Fairbanks, AK and Rasmussen Building at Grand View University in Des Moines, IA. Source: Siemens
