Global Green USA organiseert op 20 februari voor de vijfde keer de Pre-Oscar Party. Daarmee wil men aandacht vragen voor een groene levensstijl en de Carbon-footprint. Die is zoals u weet juist bij film- en andere sterren vaak ongebruikelijk hoog.
Goed dat er ook voor en tijdens de Oscars aandacht is voor het milieu en de invloed op het klimaat. Alle genomineerden voor de 80ste editie van de Oscars kunt u hier vinden. De bekendmaking van de winnaars is zoals gebruikelijk tijdens de Oscar Night op 24 februari met als presentator Jon Stewart.
