TckTckTck: The World Wants a Real Deal - Global Day of Action

Zo, het wordt hoog tijd voor de volgende internationale klimaatactie.
Op 12 december 2009 is het Global Day of Action en dat is een uitgelezen moment om nog weer eens aan de Leaders of the World te laten weten hoe The People of the World erover denken.
TckTckTck gaat in samenwerking met Avaaz, 350.org, Greenpeace, WWF, en Oxfam mensen in de hele wereld oproepen om steun te betuigen aan een Real Deal in Kopenhagen. En dat sluit natuurlijk weer heel mooi aan bij de internationale actie van de United Nations (UNEP) Seal the Deal. Uiteraard steunen wij ook deze klimaatactie weer met een Climate Action Communication Wave.
Inmiddels is de Global Day uitgegroeid tot een Global Weekend of Action: The World Wants a Real Deal! Van 11 tot en met 13 december zijn er in de hele wereld acties: Vigils for Survival, Friday 11 December, or Saturday 12 December; Global Day of Rallies, Marches, and Protests, Saturday 12 December; The Sounds of 350, Sunday December 13th.
In Nederland staat op 12 december Het Nationale Klimaatevenement: Beat the Heat Now op de agenda en op zondag 13 december komen de kerken in actie met het luiden van de kerkklokken. Eindelijk een actie in Nederland waar met massale deelname. Om 3 uur zondagmiddag hoort u het vanzelf.
