Al eerder liet Chris Paine van zich horen met de opzienbarende film Who killed the Electric Car over de mysterieuze en nog steeds onopgeloste verdwijnen van een fantastische 100% elektrische auto in 1969.
Nu is Chris gestart met de opnamen voor zijn nieuwste film Revenge of the Electric Car. Als alles volgens plan verloopt zijn de opnamen zo tegen eind 2010 afgerond. Bron: Ecorazzi
Tegen die tijd zou de Chevy Volt eindelijk op de markt moeten zijn. Die auto van General Motors wordt in Amerika gezien als de eerste elektrische auto die in grote aantallen op de wegen zal gaan rondzoeven.

Chris Paine is a filmmaker with a scientific background to back up his passion. Having worked on the Mars rovers, his interest in electric vehicles was stoked to a degree that saw him make “Who Killed the Electric Car,” and its recent sequel, “Revenge of the Electric Car.”
