Biggest Fireworks Display of All Time in Kuwait City, Kuwait

The World Record breaking display covered a distance of over 99.4 km of shoreline and featured hundreds of thousands of colourful fireworks and a series of scenes designed exclusively for the show and set to a musical soundtrack designed for the event.
The history-making performance saw 479,651 shells fired in just six minutes on New Year’s Eve, at a rate of almost 80K shells per minute and 1,332 fireworks per second.
Within the first minute, Dubai fired enough shells to break the previous Guinness World Records title record held by Kuwait with an hour-long show of 77,282 fireworks, achieved in November 2012, during the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the country’s constitution. 1 January 2014: For the paltry sum of just £10million Kuwait earned a place in the Guinness Book of Records last night as it celebrated the golden jubilee anniversary of its constitution in style by laying on the biggest fireworks display of all time.
The largest firework display consisted of 77,282 fireworks and was achieved by the State of Kuwait during the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the Constitution held in Kuwait City, Kuwait, on 10 November 2012.
The firework display stretched over 5 km (3.11 miles) of seafront, started at 8 p.m. and lasted 64 minutes. Event organizers Parente Fireworks srl and Filmmaster MEA produced the event, which included the pyrotechnic display and a lights and sound show. Preceding this, an airshow was staged in the afternoon.

2014 Burj Khalifa, Dubai New Years Eve Fireworks
Brilliantly jaw dropping Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, in the colours of the UAE National flag, Dubai ushered in the New Year with a breathtaking display of fireworks that captivated the world. The centerpiece of Downtown Dubai, Burj Khalifa was fully illuminated in shimmering white, red and green hues, drawing on the colours of the UAE national flag, through the fireworks display. The celebrations were also a salute to the nation, which celebrated its 40th National Day, on December 2, 2014.
