Lijkt mij een geweldige film, vol met humor en ook nog eens behoorlijk groen geproduceerd. Vanaf 11 februari te zien in de Nederlandse bioscopen.
Een romantische komedie van de maker van Pretty Woman, waarin verschillende stellen in Los Angeles gevolgd worden. Iedereen beleeft op zijn of haar eigen manier liefde en vriendschap op de meest liefdevolle dag van het jaar: Valentijnsdag
“We had a green set,” says Ashton Kutcher, who plays a florist in the movie. “There was a lot of dedication on this movie to using solar panels and clean energy and recycling. The fact that the movie was shot in L.A. actually made that easier to make happen. I think that every opportunity we have in our industry to make what we’re doing a more environmentally conscious effort is a good thing.”
Green production elements also included reusable sets, hybrid and clean diesel vehicles, biodegradable plates and utensils at craft services, and personal stainless steel water bottles given to the cast and crew. “Every department was very proactive about coming back to us with ideas on what they could do, and we also had the strong backing of Warner Bros., which was key,” says Executive Producer Diana Pokorny. “It’s not only about making a difference now; it’s about creating technologies and methods that will continue to be improved upon for the next movie, and so on. It was exciting for everyone involved in the film because they could see the tangible differences they can make.” Mother Nature Network - Valentine’s Day
De regie is in handen van Garry Marshall, bekend van Pretty Woman en in de hoofdrollen een enorm aantal sterren: Jessica Alba, Kathy Bates, Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper, Eric Dane, Patrick Dempsey, Hector Elizondo, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Topher Grace, Anne Hathaway, Ashton Kutcher, Queen Latifah, Taylor Lautner, George Lopez, Shirley MacLaine, Emma Roberts en Julia Roberts.

Valentine’s Day: Movie Review
Valentine’s Day has infinite big actors playing innumerable irrelevant characters, disinteresting multiple tracks forcibly intertwined into each other, a hundred clichéd love problems of a million Los Angelinos and truckloads of preachy lectures on love… all put on a display in one day’s time. You’ll find almost everything in abundance in the movie Valentine’s Day except for that one crucial thing that should have ideally been in the movie the most – LOVE in its simplest form. http://goo.gl/2WuS
